I'm wanting a set of black angel eyes for the astra, but people have put me off saying they are really bad at lighting the road up?

Can you not get HID kits for them or something? i hate driving in the dark with **** lights so im gonna need something decent

Also what difference does it make if they are 1 or 2 piece? its a phase 2 btw but it will have a gsi grille on it, will that make a difference?

shouldnt make a diffrence mate and you can get hid kit for them to :) but i see and heard about the light they give off is much better then a STD astra light, and 2 pice one's are ment to be a better fit iirc, altho i dont have any on mine im thinking of some by FK

if you get angel eyes and hid the light out put will be amasing got them on mine and cant believe how good they are dont even need high beam on dark country lanes

any links haighy? quick look on ebay and i only get 1 page of angel eyes for astra f

put in astra mk3 you will get loads more but make sure you get the right ones as i had to buy 2 sets as one was euro or somthing like that and couldnt be adjusted 4 the mot personley i didnt no there was a differance fought light were light but apparently according to my mot tester there are 2 types rh and lh and you want rh ones dont no wot it means but thats wot i was tld

right hand / left hand drive, as they drive on the wrong side the light beam goes the wrong way to ours

ah right cheers mate and i fought he was pulling my leg 4 about a year now

cheers will have a look now, i think the rh and lh depend on what side of the road you'll be driving on so they can be aiming slightly towards the curb rather than blinding everyone whos coming the other way

Is there a certain HID kit you will need with angel eyes or is it just the bulb type? (H1, H4 ect?)

Fitting fairly straight forward? cutting wires and re-soldering them doesnt bother me but so long as i know which ones to cut

EDIT

Beat to it:lol:

the only ones i had to cut on mine was the side lights but i put bulliet connecters on there so it was easyier to change bck as 4 hids im not sure mate

no probs rick, evry one on here with hid bulbs say its pretty straight forword to do ;)

If your putting a gsi grille on then you'll need a phase 1 set of angel eyes.

Honestly, i said the same to Andy, going from the normal standard headlights fitted on a mk3, then changing them to angel eyes you will not feel the need for a hid kit for a long time, the difference is staggering, trust me, i've been there. I have the one piece set of angel eyes and the fit is fairly tight, a good fit in my eyes. . .

Wouldn't mind trying out the 2 piece set though, some people have had trouble with the fixing down of the one piece set with m.o.t etc But mines gone through twice with them on.

Mine are perfectly bright enough on standard bulbs and main beam is like switching on a lighthouse. Mine are the one piece ones, I adjusted them myself so I'll know they will pass MOT also. People have said about them failing for being insecure, mine aren't secured at the bottom either but they're not going to go anywhere!

so from standard to angel eyes gives better light? in that case why are people complaining about them for winter driving?:lol::confused:

2 piece and phase two there the ones i have fitted , they fit nice and tight aswell

thanks guys, i'll email the seller and ask if they do them in phase 1 too
