coming along great sam, look forward to having a look round her next year at pv or when ever :) love the lowness, 17's yes?

****! haha epic then

just read this thread from start to finish and you sir are a legend! as someone else said the best part of this is your attitude towards the thought process and work and all on a budget. that 16v engine sounded fantastic shame it couldn't be done i'll be following this in future

fair play and keep up the good work mate

cheers mate, its nice to know somebody appreciates the hard work that has gone into the car. iv always tried to do as much as i can myself and sometimes things don't work. like the 16v engine, but i know what i need to do to make that work, but iv got to contact bosch first, so the 16v engine will be back at some point.
stay tuned

i need softer springs for inside the injectors, the cracking off pressure for the 16v injectors is around 170 bar where as the 8v ones are around 140. this is why when it was 16v it ticked over beautifully and low load acceleration it was fine but as soon as i put any load on it, it started missing, not badly but enough that it was a problem.

oh, i guess you need to find out what springs you need then

Update due ?

coilovers done

Yay finally got the rear coilovers done, MOT on tuesday so it will be back on the road :)

i just had to beef up the lower mount, sorry about the bad pictures, it was dark

i will get it sitting lower once iv got some softer springs, on that note can anybody suggest a poundage for the rear springs that is going to be nice and comfortable because iv had enough of really stiff suspension.

cheers lads, they et49, so they fit perfectly :)

i'll get some better pics up once iv given it a good clean and got the other two wheels
