I'm surprised you didn't do full car rebuild an make everything new lol

I'm going over some bits with Shultz and refreshing the underside a bit, new skirts to go on (easier to use my spare set and just blow over than go down to original plastic on them). Front legs are all new too with the new coil overs sensors springs and top mounts so should look well when I'm done. Only a light restoration though

Yeah, happy with it and new filter bracket, shame I haven't replaced the straps though, really would have looked well then

I had my straps powder coated. Did the tank in hammerite so that needs doing properly one day lol.

Will be very easy to make, was going to make some from stainless butwanting to just get it together now.

So after removing some of the reactions I went a little low on the section where i'd welded in the new 1/4, decided to go over it again-



Went over that area with epoxy again and then hit it all with high build-



Blocked back and then colour! yay! -



I think it looks ok-





Below shows where it's welded into the sill-

Need to wait for it to dry and then I can re-assemble the lot.

Next on the list is the door and wing but will be doing them at a later date and go over the bonnet again too (I've broken through a small area when I was buffing! DOH!).
