Are there any available for buying for the mk3 astra gsi??

Sitting in a car rattling its tits off no fanx

Id rather that then keep breaking them though... The engine moves way to much

They do make a noticeable difference. You used to be able to see mine try and climb out of the bay on the rolling road. It does make a difference to the handleling when you chuck it into the corners as you havent got 200 odd kgs wobbeling backwards and forwards all over the place.

But as radd says you sit in traffic and feel your feet buzzing lol.

Worth it imo though.

Ive got original rear engine mount... and i might try this tigerseal shizzle for now see what that does.... i dont mind things vibrating etc... you dont really build a car like this and expect comfort lol.... well i dont :) i got the vec for that lol

lol i did when it was a standard xe... then when i put my first engine in... that kinda went out the window along with the keeping it original lol

probably shouldn't of built it then

adz, I 'tigersealed' my mount and at a rolling road day, someone asked it I had uprated mounts! engine hardly moves at all!

get urself to a back street tyre place and ask for the bit of rubber they cut of old tyre valves, put them in the gaps, seal over the top, ALOT of seal. let them dry, job done!

Garage next door have tyre shiz... can i do still on the car u reckon?

Nah, u have to take the mounts off

a the access is ****
b the mounts need to set with no engine weight on them

buy more mounts, do them :D

na im not buying more mounts lol... wont take long to take them off... i think i have 2 front ones anyway tbh.... :) plan for next week... ive been out in it twice now... i have a oil leak which is coming from gearbox which is gay.... and coolent leak from thermo housing.. which isnt so gay... but getting there :)

I need to do this also. Ill probably use cut rubbers from exhaust fixings into the gaps before stickaflexing.

I did see a thread once of a chap who bought some [FONT=arial, sans-serif]polyurethane in liquid form. You mix two liquids together and pour it in the gaps, he selaed the one side first of course. Dont know how well it did. Link below if any one can shed any light. Ill probably go for the first method if it seems to be working.
