So my lower arm ball joints were out two weeks ago, put big block legs and shafts on yesterday and they were seized in again. Same with the track rods.

Are they all this bad for it or has anyone found a way to stop it from happening?

Sick of having to replace parts when the ball joint splitter and a chuffin big hammer is the only way i can get them out

They're designed to do that, it's what the taper is for, to make an interference fit. Some copper grease may help but that's about it. They're hardly designed to come apart every 5 minutes.

I just got new rubbers off eBay,

Try using the scissor type splitter, they do far less damage to the ball joint gaiters and most times you can get away with using them again

cant fit them in on the lower arm

cant fit them in on the lower arm

This is true.

...at least not with the cv joint attached.

In the past i have wedged a chunk of metal (spanner/socket) between the ball joint nut and the CV joint, then just unwound the ball joint nut. It forces the ball joint out of the hub.

Hit and miss though.

never know any ball joint i cant split with a well aimed hit with a hammer, sometimes helps to have someone lever the arm down with a bar too

I find cod liver oil supplements work well for joints.

i also find its about using the right type of hammer, i have 3 and only 1 works for them

bottom one i've always used 2 chisels and a hammer :) always works.... just keep tapping lightly on it and it will pop eventually. I also always copperslick everything, it helps with the threads too

lube your balls up

Easiest way for the ball joint is to unwind the nut so it's slightly proud of the thread (to protect it from the forthcoming abuse), then slip a cold chisel between the nut and the CV joint. A few decent whacks on the chisel with a lump hammer will split it no trouble.
