More bits from vaux arrived today:

8v bonded rubber gasket baffle plate, rear crank oil seal, oil filter adaptor so I can run without the oil cooler until I decide which way to do it, and a set of shorter bolts that are ment to be used with the baffle plate but are too short So going to use M6x20 stainless allen head ones instead.

Debating if I should fit ARP rod bolts whilst the sump is off or not...

Fitted a cat 1 alarm system over the weekend which ment I could finaly fit my delocked colour coded door handles.

Will be fitting the springs and a brake upgrade next weekend, more pics soon

Just need to order a couple of new water hoses from http://www.roosemotorsport.co.uk/ then I should be ready to fit the LET

I should hopefully have a F28 gearbox coming this week too.

These are the front brakes that Im fitting tomorow:

Hi Spec 300x28mm Discs and Billet 4 calipers, had these on the GTE and they did the job nicely

Fitting Goodridge hoses, using 5.1 fluid and a Calibra Turbo master cylinder as well

Also F28 box turned up but I need to sort a few bits out for it first:

Not sure Kev its running an Evo 2 chip which is rated at 245bhp but I still need to get it on the rollers to find out what its making with the other mods.

Discovered that the front anti roll bar is 26mm thick any ideas ?? I thought they where 22 as standard

Need to get some rear GSi goodridge hoses next as the ones from my gte dont fit

my front ARB is 26mm thick aswell think there a bilstein up grade TBH as there are 22mm ones and 24mm ones. god knows

looking good mate, any luck in getting the bits for the f28?? im still after the mounts, a lad never got back to me and i had to buy 4 new tyres for the vec so now cant afford the mounts. tipical eh.

I got the -30mm Pro kit (E6521-140), didnt want to go too low with the ammount of speed bumps round here

Just read the thread...some great build up this, best upgrade for me are those brakes, look great!

Small update Got my painted rocker and cambelt covers back from the paintshop, had them done the same colour as the car and Im well pleased with them, these pics dont do them any justice at all

Started to tidy up the F28 too, steam cleaned it and a few coats of hammerite smooth silver

Should have the 2wd conversion kit and new drive shaft/input shaft seals this week.
